The ISA Server event log reports: Event 20014 failed to authenticate. Most commonly, it is TCP port 1723 that is at issue and must be opened by the appropriate network administrator. Cause: Server name didn't resolve (VPN server address is in incorrect format). This could be because one of the network devices (e.g., firewalls, NAT, routers, etc.) between your computer and the remote server is not configured to allow VPN connections. EventID 20014 indicates a user authentication error caused either by not entering the correct password, or not having the proper permissions to connect via VPN. You can also test your VPN by trying to connect from inside your LAN.
