I tried again with an Ethernet connection and it didn't work either. They provided the sudo ifconfig fw0 down command and that is the only thing that fixed this issue. It makes one ask, why couldn't Cisco have just put the restart into their client? I have to do it every 2-3 times I start up VPN, though.
