I think maybe it's a good time to head over to virus removal and see if you can get to the bottom of the situation. Finally, I have hard reset the iPAQ and started from scratch with VNC 4 with no improvement. Absolutely sure as I only downloaded VNC 3 in desperation after all failed with VNC 4. V E R Y slow.

I have seen this problem from network drivers before and also from graphics drivers.
