On January 29th, I got installed one component and I started receiving the LINK : fatal error LNK1123: failure during conversion to COFF: file invalid or corrupt message. I then had to repair Visual Studio 2010 - it being corrupted along the way somehow. But I did not get how this was a problem. I went back to the project properties, and found out that in the General settings under the Linker settings, the Enable Incremental Linking was set to Yes (/INCREMENTAL).

I uninstall the .Net Framework 4.5 and then install 4.0 and it works for me.
