Unfortunately I dont have the solution, but would suggest (if you haven't already) Run FileMon to see if the installer is looking for specific files which are no longer there - I went ahead and launch the installed back from the CD again and BAM its working. Compiling src\api\python\z3consts.py ... Looks like I need to wipe VS2010 from my system and do a complete re-install. The good news is that it removed VS 2010 from the control panel. It also went ahead and noticed updated Silverlight Tools and got them as well. We recommend upgrading to the latest Safari, Google Chrome, or Firefox. Gabriel’s post explained why. It was in the form of a GUID though.
