Hmmm.... I'm running Access XP, with all the updates, including service pack 2. does an A2K MDE generated from A2K run in A2K2? and what version of Access do you have.

I am getting it when trying to open a worksheet that has VBA projects protected. You cannot create an MDE in Access 2002 of a db in Access 2000 format.
