This worked beautifully, I am now booted into the 64-bit kernel and VPN-ing without Cisco's klugey code. It has ALWAYS been fixed by going into Internet Sharing and making sure that ALL ports are UNCHECKED! Your solution resolved my issue and made me happy. After the next restart the problem was away...
